I don’t remember eating chili much as a kid, so as an adult I found myself thinking that I didn’t like it. Therefore, I would never make it or even order it at a restaurant. Then, several years ago our church held a chili cook-off, in which I was obliged to participate with my small group. I provided a dessert, not chili that year. I went around tasting all the variations of chili other people had made, and I realized that I actually liked quite a few of them, especially the ones that weren’t overly spicy.
Honey’s Deliciously Simple Macaroons
With a bag of coconut, a can of condensed milk, and some vanilla, you have all you need for quite possibly, the easiest macaroon recipe ever. My grandmother, “Honey”, passed this recipe down to me years ago, and for whatever reason, I just made it recently for the first time.
Repurposed Tabletop Mirror in Minutes
When my husband and I registered for our wedding almost twelve years ago, I picked out this beautiful tabletop mirror that was intended to be used to display candles. We did, in fact, receive it as a wedding gift, but once it was time to unpack all our gifts and decorate our little apartment, I never could find a suitable place for it. It was just a little too big and awkward for our coffee table, dresser, or any other open surface where I attempted to put it.
4-Ingredient Golfer’s Chicken
This recipe has become a regular at our house lately. It is seriously simple, and wonderfully delicious, but I’m sure the first question you’re asking is, why in the world is it called Golfer’s Chicken?
Turtle Pumpkin Pie
With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I thought I’d share an incredibly simple and incredibly delicious spin off of traditional pumpkin pie. Now don’t get me wrong – I absolutely LOVE traditional pumpkin pie, but this recipe is a little less dense, a lot more creamy, and it is SO EASY! Like over-the-top, easy peasy, couldn’t-be-much-simpler kind of easy.
