I happen to love making shredded chicken. On average, I probably make a shredded chicken recipe for dinner almost twice a week. And even though I enjoy cooking, I’m always on the hunt for truly simple recipes that will save me time in the kitchen. This easy shredded chicken recipe literally takes less than five minutes to throw in my crock pot.

Sweet Turkey & Bean Chili

January 20, 2019 by npriolo Leave a Comment

I don’t remember eating chili much as a kid, so as an adult I found myself thinking that I didn’t like it. Therefore, I would never make it or even order it at a restaurant. Then, several years ago our church held a chili cook-off, in which I was obliged to participate with my small group. I provided a dessert, not chili that year. I went around tasting all the variations of chili other people had made, and I realized that I actually liked quite a few of them, especially the ones that weren’t overly spicy.

With a bag of coconut, a can of condensed milk, and some vanilla, you have all you need for quite possibly, the easiest macaroon recipe ever. My grandmother, “Honey”, passed this recipe down to me years ago, and for whatever reason, I just made it recently for the first time.

Zucchini Ravioli in Creamy Red Sauce

In my last post I shared 6 Tips for Finding Truly Simple Recipes, so I thought it fitting to follow that up with a very simple recipe, one that’s perfect for a busy weeknight. However, let me give fair warning to the meat lovers out there – this happens to be a vegetarian meal, but don’t let that stop you from trying it! It’s delicious, easy, and pretty inexpensive too.
